Self-concept is more than just how you see yourself in the moment; it shapes the decisions you make and how you approach challenges in both your personal and professional life.

 

I discuss three scenarios where a misaligned self-concept can hold you back: self-sabotaging after achieving a goal, overworking toward unattainable goals, and dismissing opportunities because you don’t believe they’re for you. These patterns can be tricky, but they are often driven by unconscious beliefs about your capabilities. The good news is that with awareness, you can shift your mindset and take control of these behaviors.

 

In this episode, I’ll guide you through how to become more aware of your self-concept, recognize when it’s limiting you, and take steps to redefine how you see yourself. This exercise can help you break free from old patterns and align your actions with the goals you want to achieve, creating more opportunities for success and growth.
